The The 26th International Symposium on Diabetes and Nutrition of Nutrition Study Group (DNSG) of the EASD will be held in, Golden Sands, Varna, Bulgaria, 26-29 June 2008.
On behalf of DNSG Committee it is our privilege to invite you to participate in this scientific meeting. Abstracts with research data in the field of diabetes and nutrition will be reviewed and select for oral or poster presentation.
The main topics of the Symposium are:
• Obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus in adolescents
• Micro-flora and obesity
• Dietary fibers
• Micronutrients in obesity and diabetes mellitus
• Herbal medicine in obesity and diabetes mellitus
• Fructose, Obesity and Diabetes
• Nutrition - Obesity - Dyslipidemias and Dietetics
• Hygoglycemia - nutrional factors
The Conference begins with buffet at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 26th , 2008 and ends on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 with an excursion and dinner. Departure is after breakfast on Sunday June 29th, 2008.
We are looking forward to an interesting and fruitful scientific symposium as well as a memorable social experience with new acquaintances and old friends.
